The General Motors Company (GM) revealed on Tuesday that its revenue in the third trimester of fiscal 2022 reached $41.9 billion, climbing 56% on a yearly basis.
The carmaker’s net income contributable to shareholders in the third quarter stood at $3.3 billion, up from $2.4 billion recorded in the same period a year prior. Diluted earnings per share came in at $2.25, rising approximately 38% year over year and beating analyst expectations.
General Motors’ full-year guidance stayed unchanged with predicted net income of between $9.6 billion and $11.2 billion and EPS-diluted of between $5.76 and $6.76. The company’s stocks increased 1.34% in premarket trade following the release of the report.
