CNN’s Anderson Cooper Shocked as Guest Scott Jennings Destroys Liberal Network’s Narrative Live on Air, Attacks Biden: “He Has No Mandate To Do Much Of Anything”

A shockingly spirited debate occurred on the set of CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360 ° last week. CNN contributor Scott Jennings, a former Special Assistant to the President and Deputy Director of Political Affairs under George W. Bush, came on the show to talk President Biden’s presidential record just one year after his inauguration. Jennings had recently written an article for the Courier-Journal on the merits and demerits of Biden’s agenda heading into the 2022 midterms. Host Anderson Cooper, asking Jennings to comment on his article, unwittingly and immediately trigged a takedown of herculean proportions. Here is a transcript of what transpired:
“I never imagined how quickly this would all unfold. The person they sold on the campaign, you know, the nice, old, moderate grandpa who just wanted to help everybody get along and compromise, is not what we got over the last year.

He has no mandate to do much of anything.
It’s amazing that he got a couple of things done when the mandate was really pretty clear – 50/50 Senate, a near 50/50 House, and a pretty close presidential election. The mandate was pretty clear – replace Donald Trump and don’t do anything drastic or stupid.
And everything about this agenda is extremely drastic.
He’s been angrier than people expected, more divisive, more partisan.”President Biden, widely pinned as a moderate by most political pundits, has been anything but that on the issues. After leaving Afghanistan in the most disastrous way possible, the American public has woken up to Biden’s radical agenda. A recent Quinnipiac University poll puts President Biden’s approval rating at 33 percent – a far cry from the high numbers Biden enjoyed earlier in the year. As Jennings noted towards the end of the interview, only 28 percent of voters want Biden to run again in 2024. Biden’s presidency has been anything but a success for the Democrats, and their hopes going into the 2022 midterm elections are looking progressively dimmer as time goes on.
Jennings then proceeded to attack the media’s treatment of Biden, pointing out the manifest inconsistency of the media’s gentle treatment of President Biden and its vitriolic rhetoric surrounding President Trump. To quote:
“If you look at the issues: we built five years of coverage on Trump out of Russia, COVID, and democracy. The president at his press conference invites Russia to invade the Ukraine, we got more deaths under Biden than Trump, and now we have the President and Vice President — leading Democrats — questioning the legitimacy of the 2022 election? Are we any better off on these three issues that we crucified Trump over?”
