Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday that Moscow will not bring its tanks to the borders of European countries but it has «something to respond with» to the collective West’s «aggression» and their delivery of tanks to Ukraine.
Speaking at an event marking the 80th anniversary of Russia’s victory in the Battle of Stalingrad, Putin claimed that «ideas of Nazism» and German tanks are once again creating a «direct threat» to Moscow, just like they did during World War II, but insisted Moscow remains confident in its victory.
