The White House presented on Wednesday the 2022 United States national security strategy, stressing Russia’s attack on Ukraine destroyed the peace in Europe and prompted global instabilities.
Moscow’s «reckless nuclear threats endanger the global non-proliferation regime,» the White House noted in the document, stressing that autocratic regimes continued to undermine democratic values by extortion governance through repression.
The strategy confirmed the US considers Russia a threat to international peace and stability, concluding Washington won’t allow Moscow to fulfill its war goals by using or threatening to use nuclear capabilities.
