United States stock index futures jumped on Monday night with the Dow Jones hitting a «limit up,» following a massive selloff on Wall Street earlier in the day over coronavirus worries. The so-called «limit up» means trading stops when index futures rise 5% in premarket or after-hours trading.
The Dow Jones futures surged 5.08% or 1,025 points at 9:27 pm ET, the Nasdaq 100 futures rallied 4.02% at 9:07 pm ET and the S&P soared 5.22% at 9:23 pm ET.
